Construction firm Multiplex has won a GBP240m contract from Nine Elms Property, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Damac International, for the construction of its ultra-luxury residential tower, AYKON London One.
Located within Zone 1 at Nine Elms on the South Bank, the 50-storey tower will include 450 new homes that will be available in studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
Furthermore, AYKON London One will feature four levels of office space and will include a sky bridge between the south building and north tower, which is topped by an extensive roof garden at level 24.
The development will include amenities such as children’s play area, expansive indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, residents lounge, hospitality services as well as 9,924 sq ft of communal gardens.
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the Versace-branded tower is scheduled for completion in 2020.
