Australian construction firm Multiplex has been awarded a shell and core contract worth £73m by Lodha UK to build its Lincoln Square apartment in central London.

As per a pre-construction services agreement, Multiplex has already started work on-site.

Currently, the Australian contractor is completing the sub-structure of the building to deliver the basement levels, which will include residential amenities and a car parking level.

Lincoln Square is located in London’s historic and legal quarter between the cultural hub of Covent Garden to the west and the financial district of the Square Mile to the east.

Lodha UK executive director Pranav Goel said: “Our decision to work with Multiplex on Lincoln Square reflects our commitment to deliver the highest levels of quality for our customers.

“Multiplex has one of the most enviable track records in delivering London’s finest residential projects in recent years, and we are excited about partnering with them to deliver this outstanding development.”

Multiplex Construction Europe project director Graham Aubrey said: “Lodha UK’s development will be of the highest quality, providing a unique residential sanctuary in the very heart of London while also enhancing the environment of the city’s legal district.”
