Under the contract, Mott MacDonald will provide building services, civil, structural, fire and acoustic engineering, strategic brief development and cost consultancy for the project.
Mott MacDonald and Equals will also provide project management support for the facility, with Herzog & de Meuron serving as architect.
Henry Luker, Mott MacDonald’s technical director, said: "Projects like this don’t come along very often. We’re looking forward to working with the RCA and Herzog & de Meuron to deliver a world class new building that will benefit all the students at the university for generations to come.”
