Miral announces $100M Abu Dhabi leisure project

Developer Miral has announced a new $100M leisure project in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The development, known as CLYMB, will include the construction of a flight chamber with a width of 9.75m and an indoor climbing wall at a height of 43m.

It will also include retail spaces, food and beverage outlets, and event space.

Miral CEO Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi said: "CLYMB project is an important and distinctive addition to the unique portfolio of destinations developed by Miral on Yas Island.

"With the world’s widest flight chamber, and tallest indoor climbing wall coming to Abu Dhabi, we will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy exceptional experiences that combine excitement and adventure together.”

Zublin Construction has been appointed main contractor for the project. Construction work has commenced and is expected to be complete in 2018.
