Megaworld, a developer of integrated urban townships in the Philippines, will launch two more residential projects in its 31-hectare Westside City township in Entertainment City in Parañaque City in 2019.
The two residential developments – South Beach Place and Sunny Coast Residential Resort – will have around 1,900 residential units worth around PHP18bn ($344m).
The 20-storey South Beach Place will offer 582 units ranging from Studio (32m² to 41.5m²); and one-bedroom (46.5m² to 61.5m²).
All units will have either a balcony or a lanai area, providing views of Manila Bay and the Metro Manila skyline.
South Beach Place, which has been inspired by the South Beach neighbourhood of Miami, Florida, and a building that has an aerial shape of a seashell, features several amenities, including an adult and children’s pool, massage pool, sun deck lounge, pool lounge and seating deck, playground, fitness centre and function rooms.
It will provide direct access to the future Westside City Resorts World complex via footbridge.
The two towers of Sunny Coast Residential Resort will have 21 storeys each, offering 1,309 residential units.
Located along the Promenade with unobstructed views of the Manila Bay sunset, Sunny Coast Residential Resort offers units ranging from studio (up to 41m²); one-bedroom (up to 77m²); and executive one-bedroom (up to 111m²).
All units will have balconies, while select one-bedroom units will have bi-level balconies.
Amenities at Sunny Coast Residential Resort will include an infinity pool, children’s pool, wading pool, pool pavilion, lounge deck, meditation deck, children’s playground, fitness playground, fitness centre, function rooms and outdoor seating area.
South Beach Place and Sunny Coast Residential Resort are expected to be completed in 2024.
The PHP121bn ($2.3bn) Westside City township will be established on 31 hectares within Entertainment City.
Megaworld has committed to invest PHP64bn ($1.2bn) to build Westside City within 10 years. Travelers International Hotels Group, the developer and operator of the Resorts World brand in the Philippines, has committed to invest PHP57bn ($1.1bn) to build the Westside City Resorts World complex.
Megaworld will construct two new hotels in Westside City, 529-room Kingsford Hotel and 685-room Grand Westside Hotel, and both will be linked to the casino complex.
