Malaysia firm wins contracts worth $215M

Malaysia-based energy services firm SapuraKencana Petroleum has secured new contracts with a combined value of about MYR889M ($215M).

A team of SapuraKencana TL Offshore and SapuraKencana HL has won a contract from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the B127 Cluster Pipeline RTR project in India.

Under the contract, the consortium will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of 11 pipeline systems and associated topside modifications in B127 and surrounding Mumbai High fields. The contract has tenure of 20 months.

SapuraKencana Drilling Asia has secured an order from Brunei Shell Petroleum for the provision of its Tender Assist Drilling Rig SKD Pelaut. The contract has tenure of two years with options to extend it for an additional two years.

SapuraKencana Subsea Services has secured a contract from Petronas Carigali (PCSB) to provide underwater maintenance services for Sepat MOPU.

Under the contract, the company will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repairs, drilling support and other work for PCSB’s underwater facilities. The contract is for a period of about two months.
