L&T Hydrocarbon wins $245M contract offshore India

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited (LTHE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has won a $245M contract from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Neelam Redevelopment & B173AC project offshore India.

The project is part of ONGC’s plan to upgrade the field life and increase recovery of the Neelam field, which is located in the Heera-Panna block, about 45km south-west of Mumbai.

Under the contract, LTHE will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the project.

The scope of the work will involve one new process platform having gas processing and compression facilities, three new well head platforms, 32km pipeline, clamp-on on three existing platforms, and modification work on eight existing platforms.

The project is scheduled to be complete by April 2019.
