UK-based housing developer Lovell has commenced work on a £58M housing project in Holt, north Norfolk, UK.

The development is being built at Heath Farm, on the south-eastern edge of the town, and will involve the construction of 213 homes. The area is earmarked for new housing by the North Norfolk District Council.

162 homes will be built for open market sale in a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom configurations, while 51 homes will be for affordable rent and shared ownership in one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations.

Lovell will also build a new access road to Hempstead Road via the existing Heath Drive Industrial estate.

Simon Medler, Lovell regional managing director, said: “We’re very excited to be starting work on these outstanding new homes for Holt which is one of north Norfolk’s most desirable places to live.

“Designed and built to the highest quality standards, these modern and spacious homes will prove the perfect fit for a wide range of home-seekers, from young professionals and downsizers to couples and families.”

The overall project is expected to be complete in 2023. The first new homes for sale are expected to be available at the end of 2017.

Victory Housing Trust will own and manage the affordable rented and shared ownership homes.
