John Deere has launched its 470G LC excavator, featuring an EPA Final Tier 4/EU Stage IV diesel engine.
The machine includes John Deere's Powerwise III engine and hydraulic management system, which balances engine performance with hydraulic flow to provide more predictable operation. It offers three productivity modes, enabling the operator to select the digging style best-suited to the job.
Other features include a wide expanse of front, side and overhead glass and mirrors to provide unobstructed visibility to the sides and rear; a heated air-suspension high-back operator seat; a multi-language LCD monitor and rotary dial to provide information and functions including the choice of productivity mode, operating information, maintenance intervals, diagnostic codes, and temperature control; and boom and frame lights.
The machine's fan runs at only the required speed, reducing fuel consumption and noise, while the boom incorporates three welded bulkheads to improve resistance to torsional stress and increase durability.
The 470G LC offers a digging depth of 8.27m and has an operating weight of 51.2t.
