Keepmoat, a UK-based community regeneration and housebuilding company, has secured a contract from the Leicester City Council to rejuvenate an 18-acre brownfield site in the Waterside area of Leicester, UK.

The £80M neighbourhood project will include 302 new homes, 6,300sq m of grade-A office space, a 465sq m retail unit, and a neighbourhood park.

Keepmoat Homes’ regional director Andrew Mason said: “We are delighted to be selected as preferred developer to deliver Phase One of the Waterside development.

"We believe this scheme offers a unique opportunity to maximise the full potential of the waterside setting and transform the area, creating an exciting housing offer and providing a new high-quality office location in the city centre."

The council has already allocated £15M for the project, with an additional £45M set to be invested.
