
JPI, a developer of Class A multi-family communities, is set to break ground on its new project, Jefferson Pacific Beach, in San Diego, California after obtained fresh round of funding.
Located directly adjacent to Mission Bay Park, Jefferson Pacific Beach will be built with an investment of $103.5m and feature 172 luxury apartment homes, and 14,000 sq ft of ground floor retail and creative office space.
The project, which will include three-levels of podium construction on a nearly three-acre site, has been designed by San Diego-based architectural firm, Carrier Johnson + Culture.
Jefferson Pacific Beach will feature unique amenities, such as a surfboard repair/DIY station, and water-sport storage space.
Furthermore, the project includes upgrading seven existing traffic signals and the addition of one new traffic signal within the Mission Bay Drive corridor with an ‘Adaptive Traffic Signalization’ system.
