Graham Construction to develop Aberdeen health facilities

Graham Construction has won a contract to develop two new health facilities for NHS Grampian at the Foresterhill Health Campus in Aberdeen, UK.

The new Baird Family Hospital will incorporate maternity, gynaecology and breast surgery services, while the ANCHOR Centre will feature day-patient and out-patient oncology and haematology services.

NHS Grampian project director Jackie Bremner said: “This is a very exciting milestone in the development of these important new developments on the Foresterhill Health Campus.

“We look forward to working with our partners at Graham Construction to create high-quality modern facilities that will help enable us to deliver quality care designed for the future for the people of the North East, North of Scotland and the Northern Isles.”

The two projects are estimated to cost £134M. Construction work is expected to commence by mid-2018, and be concluded by 2020.
