Goodman Group has commenced the second stage of development of the $1.5bn Goodman Business Park in Chiba Newtown, Japan.
The logistics and business park is situated 25m above sea level and located inland on seismically stable land, which makes it less prone to natural disasters.
When complete, the development will feature affordable logistics and commercial spaces, retail outlets, restaurants, café, child care service, free share bicycle service, dedicated bus services to the nearest train stations, wide estate roads ensuring congestion free access and left hand only turn for maximum safety.

Eco-friendly design includes roof top solar panels, LED lighting throughout and shared bicycle system.
Stage 2 (South Building) will have 125,000 sq m of multi-customer logistics space, four-stories with truck berths on all floors accessed by separate up and down ramps, flexible design and specification to meet customers' requirements including custom racking, material handling systems and cold/chilled storage, employee amenities and high voltage electricity.
