Megaworld subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts (GERI) will construct a second tower for Tulip Gardens inside its 561-hectare Southwoods City township in the Philippines, following the successful take-up of the first tower in July 2018.
The 22-storey Burgundy Tower will offer 361 residential units ranging from studio, with sizes of up to 24.5m², to one-bedroom units with balcony, with sizes of up to 41.5m².
Located within a walking distance to Southwoods Mall and the Sto Niño de Cebu Parish, the Burgundy Tower will offer a community lifestyle setting surrounded by landscaped and manicured gardens.
It will also include amenities such as jogging paths, adult and kiddie pools, pool deck and cabanas, fitness centre, active zone for kids that include an indoor playroom and outdoor playground, and a multi-purpose hall for functions and gatherings.
The Burgundy Tower, scheduled for completion in 2024, is expected to generate around PHP1.3bn ($25m) in sales.
Southwoods City is just 30 minutes away from the Makati Central Business District (CBD) and the business district of Fort Bonifacio. It is also just 10 minutes away from the business district of Alabang, and just 45 minutes away from Tagaytay.
From 2016 to 2017, the company sold the four towers of Holland Park with a total inventory of 622 units worth PHP2.7bn ($52m).
In 2017, the three-level Southwoods Mall opened to the public, offering 58,000m² of retail spaces.
Southwoods City offers direct access to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) via the Southwoods Exit.
Earlier in February 2019, Megaworld launched another residential condominium development, Two Regis, inside The Upper East township in Bacolod City, six months after launching its first residential tower, One Regis in 2018.
Two Regis is a 14-storey residential tower that will be built at the corner of Regis and Madison Streets within the 34-hectare township in the eastern part of Bacolod City.
Located beside the proposed Megaworld Lifestyle Mall, Two Regis will offer units ranging from studio (up to 31.5m²); executive studio (up to 37.5m²); one-bedroom (up to 43.5m²) and two-bedroom (up to 87m²).
The residential tower will feature three Skygardens, two of which will be located on the 12th level, and one at the centre of the eighth level.
The penthouse floor will offer units in varying sizes.
Two Regis, which will be completed in 2023, will include amenities such as a lap pool, kiddie pool, fitness centre, daycare centre and function rooms at the second level.
