Gammon secures $102m residential development contract in Hong Kong

Gammon Engineering & Construction Company has been awarded a contract worth about HKD800m ($102.4m) to build a residential project in Hong Kong.

The project is being developed by Wheelock Properties at Plantation Road, Hong Kong.

Under the contract, Gammon Engineering will be responsible for the construction of 20 villas, which are expected to meet the Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Method (HKBEAM) Gold standard.

Work on the project has started in September 2017 and is scheduled for completion in 2020. The project will create 450 jobs during peak construction period.
