FLSmidth wins €100m cement plant contract in North Africa

FLSmidth, a Danish engineering services provider, has secured a contract worth over €100m for the construction of cement plantin North Africa.

Pursuant to the contract, FLSmidth will be responsible for the engineering, equipment supply, construction supervision and commissioning of the plant.

The cement plant, located in the North Africa region, will mainly supply cement to its local market.

Upon completion, the facility will have a capacity of 12,000 tonnes per day.

Per Mejnert Kristensen, group executive vice president and president of cement division at FLSmidth, said: "We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the preferred supplier of this cement plant.
