Energy-positive office building for Norway

Swedish construction firm Skanska has secured a contract from Entra to construct an energy-positive office building in Trondheim, Norway.

The NOK370M ($43M) building will feature 15,700 sq m of office space, 2,300 sq m of which will be leased. It will also include the construction of 2,500 sq m of underground parking space.

Powerhouse Brattørkaia will be the world's northernmost energy-positive office building, according to Skanska, and will achieve BREEAM NOR Outstanding certification.

Construction on the project will start in April 2017 and will be complete in February 2019.
