UK-based developer Elliot Group has unveiled plans to construct three 34-storey residential towers in Liverpool.

Designed by architects Falconer Chester Hall, the development, to be located on the northern gateway to Liverpool’s business district, will feature more than 1,000 new homes.

The £250M project, set to become the largest single private housing project in the city, will be developed on land acquired from Liverpool investors, the Smith family, on Leeds Street.

Elliot Group director Elliot Lawless said: “We wanted to create a statement of confidence for people entering the city.

“If our proposals are approved then they will go a long way to helping Leeds Street fulfil its potential as a dramatic gateway along the northern edge of the city centre.”

Elliot is now in discussions with Liverpool council’s planning and design officers and expects to submit a planning application in early September.
