Swiss manufacturing company Datwyler is set to construct a new CHF100M ($102M) plant in Delaware, US.
The new automated facility will produce high-quality elastomer components for injectable drug delivery systems.
The new plant is to be designed, constructed and operated in-line with the company’s new “FirstLine” standards — a manufacturing concept for high-quality elastomer components.
Construction work on the project is expected to commence before the end of 2016, with production scheduled to start in the first half of 2018. Once fully operational, the plant will help create about 120 jobs in the region.
