CIMIC Group company CPB Contractors, along with its Alliance partners, has been selected for three new contracts totalling approximately $276M in Australia.

The contracts, awarded by Main Roads Western Australia, follow a renegotiation of the ROE 8 contract, which includes the design and construction of a 5km extension of the Roe Highway from Kwinana Freeway to Stock Road.

The new projects include connecting Murdoch Drive to Kwinana Freeway and Roe Highway to provide greater access to the Fiona Stanley Hospital and Murdoch Activity Centre, the upgrading of Wanneroo Road to a dual carriageway between Joondalup Drive and Flynn Drive, and the upgrading of Armadale Road to a dual carriageway between Tapper Road and Anstey Road.

The Alliance team will also manage the rehabilitation of the cleared Roe 8 site in Coolbellup.

Román Garrido, CPB managing director, said: “The new projects are significant in that they will enhance Perth’s road network operations in the northern, eastern and southern suburbs of Perth, as well as create important opportunities for the participation of local workers and businesses.”

CPB Contractors’ Alliance partners are Georgiou Group, WA Limestone, GHD, AECOM and BG&E.
