Court Collaboration, a real estate developer in Birmingham, England, has announced the launch of 51-storey build to rent (BTR) scheme, ONE Eastside Birmingham.

This is set to be the tallest building in Birmingham and comprise 667 luxury units as well as various public realms.

A roof-top sky bar for residents, a cinema and a variety of yoga and gym facilities will also be included in the luxury development. Owners will also be allowed to keep pets at the scheme.

Previously the CEAC building in Eastside, the development will be sold through Courts sales team – Court Living.

Court Collaboration CEO and founder Anthony McCourt said: “We are truly excited about One Eastside. Bringing such a tower of scale to the region and adjacent to the entrance to our new HS2 station, this scheme will create new standards of city centre living for its residents.

“Our forward funding plans are close to being announced and this in itself will be a huge inward investment story for our region in bringing some of most mature BTR globally to our city.”

The scheme has a gross development value of £160m. Construction is expected to commence in November 2019 and be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The scheme will be funded through financial backing from several investors.

The company has already worked alongside investors from across the globe to deliver schemes such as The Axium and Arden Gate where a few units are still available to buy.

ONE Eastside, the largest build to rent (BTR) scheme in Birmingham, will be located close to the new HS2 station offering direct links to London in less than an hour. Other Birmingham landmarks such as Grand Central, The Mailbox, Bullring and Birmingham business district will be a 10-minute walk away.

It will also be surrounded by universities, including Birmingham City University, and close to the Brindleyplace and the Jewellery Quarter.
