Centurion American Development Group has broken ground on a mixed-use development in Texas, US.
Mercer Crossing will be located at the corner of Luna Road and Whittington Lane in Farmers Branch.
Sprawling over a 370-acre site, the $1bn development will feature over 800 single-family homes, apartments, retail stores, restaurants, a boutique hotel, a 48-acre office park, an amphitheatre, and a boardwalk entertainment district.
The project is the result of more than two years of planning with the City of Farmers Branch.
Mehrdad Moayedi, Centurion American president and CEO, said: “We’ve spent the last two years planning every detail of this project with the City of Farmers Branch and feel there couldn’t be a more perfect time to break ground.”
The project is expected to be complete in 2018.
Centurion American is a developer of single-family home neighbourhoods.
