Construction of the Wheeling Town Center mixed-use development in Illinois is set to start by the end of the year.

The project will entail an investment of $110m, with Brad Friedman serving as the developer.

The property will include retail, dining, and entertainment space, as well as a 300-unit luxury residential building.

Construction on the residential building and the theatre are anticipated to be over by early 2018.

The project faced a lot of setbacks including working out an agreement with the Wheeling Park District on infrastructure for water, sewer and floodwater management.
