Construction begins on $150m luxury urban village community in US

Los Angeles-based Century West Partners and Milender White have begun construction on the Lincoln Collection, a $150m mixed-use multifamily project in California, US.

Located in the heart of downtown Santa Monica, Lincoln Collection will offer renters apartment living with heightened luxury and sophisticated features, finishes and amenities.

The four-storey urban village community will feature 208 units offered in studio and one- and two-bedroom floorplans within two contiguous buildings and 25,000ft2 of street level retail amenities.

Lincoln Collection will include resort-like amenities such as a large pool and sun decks, a screening room, and a lounge and entertainment space, fitness centre, business centre and outdoor courtyards.

It will offer residents in-unit finishes and features, including luxe plank flooring, Quartz countertops, Euro-style cabinets, stainless steel appliance packages, and luxury bathrooms and tech-friendly features such as in-wall USB outlets.

Residents of Lincoln Collection will be able to access renowned beaches, the Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, numerous parks, upscale dining and nightlife options, as well as boutiques and national retailers.

With a Walk Score of 93, the community has been designated an official Walker’s Paradise.

Lincoln Collection also provides easy access to public transit, including the Big Blue Bus, Santa Monica’s local rapid transit service, as well as the Metro Blue Line at 4th Street and Colorado Ave.

Century West Partners is currently developing additional communities, including two of the largest, construction projects in Los Angeles.

NEXT on Lex, a 494-unit mixed-use community with 8,140ft2 of street level retail is currently under construction in the heart of Glendale.

NEXT on Sixth, a 398-unit community in Koreatown, will be anchored on the ground level by one of Los Angeles’ few Target urban-concept retail stores. The 22,000ft2 store will feature groceries and hard and soft goods.

The community will also include a suite of amenities as well as large-scale custom art commissions.
