BAM Construction has been selected by Jaguar Land Rover to build a new multi-storey car park on Kingsbury Road in Birmingham, UK.
The 59,000sq m project will replace an existing surface car park and will provide 2,764 spaces for staff and production vehicle parking.
The car park will sit on piled foundations with pads. Bourne Parking will offer the steel frame with concrete planks, pre-cast stair cores and cladding for the project.
Ridge & Partners will serve as the architect and structural engineer, while Mace will be the quantity surveyor.
BAM contracts manager Jon Kiteley said: “The Jaguar Land Rover brand is very prestigious so it’s a special success for the region.
“We’re currently working at Three Snowhill and Tata Technologies, so we have some impressive commercial partners to complement a leading education portfolio across the West Midlands.”
The multi-phased project is expected to be concluded in April 2017.
