Interbuil, an operating company of Royal BAM Group, has been awarded contract worth €83m for the two exclusive Möbius offices in Brussels’ northern district.

Under the contract, Interbuild will construct the two office towers for client IMMOBEL, one of the largest listed property development groups in Belgium.

Assar Architects has designed the Möbius towers whose elliptical shape distinguishes the towers from the rigid architectural appearance of the surrounding buildings.

Möbius I will feature 20 floors and Möbius II will include 23 levels and will be 80m and 97m high, respectively. Both towers will provide approximately 62,000 sq m of office space.

The towers, which have been designed according to the passive standard (EPB Brussels 2015), will feature full glass facade, panoramic views and direct daylight in all workplaces.

Construction work on the first tower is expected to begin in January 2018 and is likely to be completed in almost two years. Möbius I will provide space for the new headquarters of insurance firm Allianz, and will be branded as Allianz Tower.

Work on Möbius II will commence once IMMOBEL reaches an agreement with an investor or tenant.
