UAE-based Azizi Developments has awarded two contracts worth AED440m ($119.7m) for two buildings – Fawad Azizi and Jawad Azizi – in Dubai Healthcare City.
Zahrat Al Safa Contracting has been appointed to construct the two buildings. Each contract is valued at AED220m ($59.8m).
Construction of the buildings commenced on 1 April 2018.
Fawad Azizi will have 396 units, including 201 studios, 165 one-bedroom apartments and 30 two-bedroom apartments; and Jawad Azizi will have 383 total units, including 216 studios, 137 one-bedroom apartments and 30 two-bedroom apartments.

Other two projects by Azizi Developments in DHCC are Azizi Aliyah Residences and Farhad Azizi.
Azizi Aliyah Residences is a AED470m ($127.9m) project that will offer 346 fully serviced residences with 191 studios, 135 one-bedroom apartments and 20 two-bedroom apartments, along with upscale retail space of 16,000ft².
Farhad Azizi will have 634 units, including 396 studios, 218 one-bedroom apartments and 20 two-bedroom apartments.
Azizi Developments has also announced the status of Phases 1, 2 and 3 of its flagship project Azizi Riviera in Meydan One.
Phases 1 and 2 are set to be completed in the first quarter of 2019 and Phases 3 and 4 in the third quarter of 2019.
The company said land excavation has commenced for Phase 3, while basement works for Phases 1 and 2 are progressing rapidly.
Azizi Riviera will have 69 mid-rise buildings, comprising 16,000 units of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.
