Contractor Multiplex has completed the fourth and final stage of the Far East Consortium's $550M Upper West Side at 33 Rose Lane in Melbourne central business district.

The $160M, 52-storey Tower Three was designed by Cottee Parker architects and features 641 apartments, a large retail arcade, a communal pool and a gymnasium.

Multiplex Victoria regional managing director Graham Cottam said: “We are delighted to have completed the final stage of Upper West Side. Throughout all four stages of the project, we have drawn on our extensive experience in delivering high rise towers amidst a busy CBD environment.”

The podium landscape area to Tower Three is expected to be complete by mid-November. The combined area of all the towers is set to be one of the largest raised green roofs in the southern hemisphere.

The landscape zones, which are about an acre in size, will include features such as rock climbing facilities, plants and trees.
