Target Engineering Construction Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arabtec Holding, has bagged a contract worth AED950m ($258.6m) from Emaar Properties for Phase 2 of Forte, a residential development in Downtown Dubai.

Under the second phase, Target will be responsible for the construction of the podium and twin towers with 67 and 46 floors.

Target has already been awarded a contract to build the first phase of the project, which includes the construction of five basements for the two residential towers. Both phases are slated to be completed within 40 months.

Arabtec Holding group CEO Hamish Tyrwhitt said: “The award of Forte Phase 1 & 2 to Target Engineering demonstrates the strength and confidence of the groups’ relationship with Emaar Properties.
