Allied Orion breaks ground on luxury apartments in Katy, Texas

Allied Orion Group has broken ground on Territory at Greenhouse Apartments, a 288-unit, luxury community in Katy, Texas.

Allied Orion was selected to manage and serve as general contractor for the project. The Class A community is expected to open in February of 2020 and the pre-leasing could begin later in 2019.

Owned by Dhanani Private Equity Group, Territory at Greenhouse is located at 2500 Greenhouse Road. The luxury community will offer customers the options of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans.

Dhanani Private Equity Group owner Nick Dhanani said: “I selected Allied Orion Group to both build and manage Territory at Greenhouse because I was very impressed by several of their projects in the Houston area as well as their highly professional, helpful team.

“Most importantly, their corporate headquarters is right across the street from the project site, which makes it easy for them to showcase their capabilities.”

Each apartment home will feature granite countertops and subway tile in the kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel appliance packages, brushed nickel hardware, elegant lighting fixtures, plush carpeting, washed oak vinyl plank flooring, garden tubs, private balconies and other designer accents.

Community amenities will include personal concierge services/errand runner, resort-style pool and courtyard, modern fitness centre, fitness on demand, outdoor movie amphitheatre, clubhouse, resident lounge, business centre, leash-free dog park and dog wash station.

Allied Orion Group president Loyal Proffitt said: “This is our first project with Dhanani Private Equity Group, and we look forward to building a long-term partnership and working together on future projects.”

Situated near I-10, Territory at Greenhouse will also offer easy access to the nearby Houston Energy Corridor, downtown Houston and the Houston Galleria area.

It is also located near Houston Methodist Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and Cullen Park, along with several dining, retail and entertainment options such as LaCenterra in Cinco Ranch, City Centre, and Katy Mills Mall.

Located in the Katy Independent School District zone, residents with school-age children will be in close proximity to local elementary, middle and high school.
