Aecom Capital, the investment wing of American engineering firm Aecom, and Combined Properties, a full-service real estate firm, have partnered with Montage Hotels & Resorts for the construction of Pendry West Hollywood and the Pendry Residences West Hollywood in the US.
The 300,000ft² development will encompass a full city block along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.
The development, scheduled to open in 2020, occupies a prime location on Sunset Boulevard and will provide guests and residence owners with views of Los Angeles and access to West Hollywood’s dining, shopping and nightlife hotspots.
Pendry West Hollywood, located at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Olive Drive in the Sunset Strip, will comprise 149 luxury guestrooms and 40 private residences.
Guests and residence owners will have access to hotel amenities such as a private membership club; multiple chef-driven food and beverage outlets; rooftop pool and bar; multi-purpose live entertainment venue; screening room; bowling alley; Spa Pendry and modern fitness centre; and curated art collection.
Pendry Residences West Hollywood, the first Pendry Residences to be opened, will feature spacious floorplans and terraces and offer residential amenities such as a private rooftop pool, fitness centre, lounge and wine room, and dedicated staff delivering hospitality, including catering and in-residence dining by the hotel’s chef.

Pendry West Hollywood has been designed by Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects and executed by Cuningham Group Architects with interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
Aecom serves as construction manager on the project through its Aecom Hunt business.
