Canada-based AltaGas has announced that its board of directors have approved a positive final investment decision for the construction, ownership and operation of the North Pine facility in British Columbia, Canada.
Whether buildings are comprised of commercial, residential or office space, they can be assessed, rated and certified according to their green and sustainable features.
Graham Construction has been selected by Barnet Council to build around £150M of new projects in Barnet, UK.Major projects will include a range of new buildings including schools, leisure centres and community centres to meet the demands of a growing population. Schemes already confirmed include two new leisure centres at Copthall and New Barnet, the Tarling Road Community Centre in East Finchley and school expansion projects. Cllr Richard Cornelius, leader of Barnet Council, said: “As our borough expands so does the need for us to provide more housing, school places, leisure centres and community facilities for our residents, which is why we are investing £565 million in the future of the borough. This led to our decision to build a second plant next to it."The demand for MetAMINO for animal nutrition is continuing to grow at a very fast rate in Asia."The facility is anticipated to be operational in 2019, and create more than 150 jobs.

Wychavon District Council has granted detailed planning permission in July 2016 for the construction of the first two units, comprising 14,900sq m and 4,200sq m respectively, at the business park. Stoford director Gerard Ludlow, said: “With the appointment of Benniman as construction partner, Worcester Six is on track to start construction this month, completing in the second quarter of 2017. As the first large-scale development in Worcester for more than 10 years, we’re seeing plenty of interest in the park and are confident our speculative developments won’t be on the market for long.”Once complete, the business park is expected to create 5,000 jobs.
