ACCIONA Energy (ANA) and Aveng Grinaker-LTA (AGL) are planning to undertake the Sishen Photovoltaic Plant at Dibeng, in Northern Cape Province, South Africa.

Project Details

The project involves construction of a 74 MW solar energy farm. It includes the construction of power house, access roads, installation of photovoltaic cells, laying of transmission line and construction of other related infrastructure.

The developer has until December 13, 2012 to take the project to financial closure and complete all the necessary agreements including power purchase agreement (PPA).

Construction work on the project is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2013 with an anticipated completion by the end of 2014.
