The project between SH 121 and 380 on US 75 is a part of a four-year program to redevelop Central Expressway. The project will broaden the highway from two lanes and two frontage lanes each way to four lanes and three frontage lanes in each direction. The entire project to broaden US 75 has been divided intp five different parts, all of which are either underway, nearing completion or just starting up. The project for road widening between Spur 399 (SH 121) and US 380 is a part of the five-project scheme of TxDOT. The project will boost the capacity of the Central Expressway to handle projected growth in traffic in future. The project will be developed by W.W. Webber and is scheduled for completion in mid-2015.
