Tenders announced for Hyde housing framework in London
2 February 2010Hyde Housing Association is inviting bids for a GBP140 million ($223.81 million) framework, covering repair and maintenance works across more than 20,700 properties in London and the East of England.
The contract is for four years and includes all Hyde’s domestic properties, commercial buildings in residential areas and neighborhood offices in London and the surrounding areas. The scope of work range from responsive repairs and maintenance, stock investment, voids, planned maintenance, cyclical repairs, boiler replacement, lift maintenance, door entry and access systems to CCTV systems as well as decent homes works, major refurbishment and renewal works. The overall framework is separated through two different lots, covering the work in Inner London worth GBP8 million ($12.78 million) annually and Greater London including the East of England worth GBP12 ($19.18) million annually. Interested contractors can express their interest till February 14, and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire until March 2, 2010. The association is planning to invite between three to five firms for the tender.
