SNC-Lavalin wins contract for new jet engine test bench by Air France

SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a complete general contracting contract for the construction of a new jet engine test bench at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) Airport by Air France.
The facility will be able to accommodate the next-generation extra large Airbus A380 and Boeing B777 engines.
The SNC-Lavalin in Europe contract will apply to all related areas and facilities, such as reception and preparation workshops, service rooms for utilities, as well as offices and staff rooms. Particular attention will be given to the handling of acoustics and vibrations in the structure design, in collaboration with architect Jean-François Schmit.
SNC-Lavalin in Europe is a subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin, an engineering and construction group in the world and a major player in the ownership of infrastructure and the provision of operations and maintenance services.
