PT Pertamina awards EPC contract for Gundih Central plant in Indonesia

PT Pertamina EP has awarded an EPC contract to the consortium of PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk for the construction of Gundih Central processing plant project at an estimated investment of $200 million at Gundih in Blora, Central Java, Indonesia.

The project includes construction of a natural gas processing with a capacity to process 50 million standard cubic feet per day of gas. It also involves construction of storage tanks, pipeline facilities, combustion units, and other related infrastructure facilities. The project also includes installation of equipment, refrigeration unit, liquefaction unit and safety system.

The project aims at increasing the processing and fractionation capacity of natural gas and also allows for transport of the fractionated liquids by numerous options.

PT Pertamina EP is the owner of the project and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia is the planning authority for the project. A consortium of PT Inti Karya Persada and PT Adhi Karya Engineering (Persero) Tbk has been appointed as the construction contractor with a contact value of $120 million.
