Wacker Neuson has introduced the ET16 mini tracked excavator, designed particularly for excavation work in confined spaces.

Due to the compact size of the machine, it is suited to working indoors, in inner-city areas, and for landscaping, says the manufacturer.
It features a telescopic undercarriage that can be extended from 990mm to 1,300mm, enabling the operator to drive through narrow passages, as well as ensuring a high level of stability when the undercarriage is extended.
The ET16 has an operating weight of 1.5t, making it suitable for use on sensitive soils, and a transport weight of 1,400kg–1,600kg, allowing it to be transported on a normal car trailer.
The machine also features the largest operator cabin in its weight class, increasing legroom and headroom. It also incorporates full glazing, increasing visibility.
The ET16 uses a three-cylinder diesel engine with a second travelling speed of up to 4kmh.
