Mansell constructs eight new homes at Stockport, UK

The scheme includes three-bedroomed houses for shared ownership, located in a residential area. Initially, the design was completed and subcontractors were selected well in advance of the works commencing on site. Work on the project was completed approximately 11 weeks early. Further there was strong liaison with the subcontractors through weekly meetings to ensure they fully bought into the fast build ethos. A 12-week lead in period meant that there was sufficient time to properly plan all works and place supply chain orders ahead of work starting. The use of off-site manufactured timber frames made for quicker construction and fewer people on site. Mansell operates as a construction and property services company.
