LMC, a company that develops and manages apartments, has commenced construction on Ovation, a luxury two-tower high-rise and mixed-use apartment community, at the gateway to the First Hill neighbourhood of Seattle.
The community will feature two 32-storey towers, 548 apartment homes and approximately 6,000ft² of retail, including space for a full-service restaurant in the west building.
A 9,000ft² outdoor plaza will include a water feature and is located at the northwest corner of the block adjacent to Town Hall, offering views of Freeway Park and the city’s skyline.
The community is expected to welcome its first residents in 2021.
LMC is developing Ovation in partnership with QuadReal Property Group, JTM Construction, architect Perkins+Will, civil engineer Coughlin Porter Lundeen and structural engineer DCI Engineers.
Ovation is located between Hubbell Place and 8th Avenue on Spring Street and will offer views of the city to the west and Mt Rainier to the south.
Located beside the Central Business District (CBD), the community is less than a 10-minute walk to South Lake Union’s tech sector and the entertainment options of Capitol Hill.
Ovation, which will share the block with Town Hall, offers easy access to Interstate 5. Two major bus lines will provide connectivity to key locales across the metropolitan area.
Ovation will offer studio, one-, and two- bedroom homes, including two-storey penthouse layouts.
Apartment homes will include smart-home features such as Alexa-enabled lighting, thermostats, window shades and electronic door entry.
Ovation will incorporate condo-quality finishes with emphasis on creating liveable spaces.
It will offer many homes with oversized bedrooms, bathrooms and closets, while providing an array of luxury amenities.
The 17,400ft² community amenities will include an extra-large, modern fitness centre, co-working spaces, movie room, pet spa and covered pet run and multiple resident lounges.
Two large rooftop amenity spaces will include a pool on the west tower and a Pacific Coast-inspired setting on the east tower for children to explore and play.
Both rooftops will include outdoor fireplaces, grills and seating areas. Residents will also have access to bike stations with storage, wash and repair stations.
