Singapore-based JTC Corporation has begun construction of its Components Manufacturing and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Facilities (CMMF) at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore.

To be built with an investment of SGD30 million ($22 million), the CMMF comprises seven standard factory buildings on a three-hectare site at the southern tip of the park and is intended for companies engaged in maintenance, repair and overhaul activities and those that manufacture aerospace components. Tang Wai Yee, director for the Aerospace, Marine and CleanTech Cluster, JTC was reported stating that the CMMF and other developments in SAP will be home to companies that will contribute to SAP's annual value-add target of SGD3.3 billion ($2.39 billion) by 2018. JTC is evaluating the tender submissions for the building works of the CMMF and is likely to award the tender by July-end. The company has recently awarded the piling works tender for the project to Leong Hin Piling for SGD1.8 million ($1.3 million).
