ICE opens satellite manufacturing plant in North Carolina
10 July 2012US-based International Ceramic Engineering (ICE) has inaugurated its satellite manufacturing plant in the Raleigh Durham area in Morrisville, North Carolina.
The new 9,000 square feet facility accommodates research and development (R&D) capabilities, prototype through production manufacturing, technical assistance services and a clean room.
The company stated that the new facility will supplement its main facility in Worcester, Massachusetts and the expansion would further broaden its east coast customer base.
Founded in 1980, ICE is engaged in engineering, fabrication and manufacturing of ceramic and plastic materials for the semiconductor and solar industries. It provides engineering services to its clients with the cost-effective design for their ceramic and plastic applications.
ICE offers extensive machining and grinding capabilities and can produce custom components to exacting tolerances. It also manufactures from prototype to production quantities.
