Howard Dernberger unveils lamps with vintage designs
17 April 2009US designer Howard Dernberger has come up with One Light Art Lamps featuring vintage motifs.
One Light Art Lamps are designed in the shape of vintage items like old tea sets, trumpets, helmets and so on.
Dernberger, who has been passionate about lamp designing from childhood, tries to preserve the original objects in the process of turning them into lamps with post-modern sensibility.
The designer lamps look like reincarnations of these antique objects, joining art and form together to create a unique piece of functional design.
One Light Art Lamps are available at Verdigris in Occidental, and at Christensen-Heller Gallery in Oakland, California.
