Gayatri Projects wins $139M road contract

India-based highway infrastructure firm Gayatri Projects has secured a INR9.26bn ($139M) contract for the construction of a road project in Bihar, India.

The contract has been awarded by the Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH).

The scope of the project will include the conversion of the Gaya-Hisua-Rajgir-Nalanda-Bhiarsharif section of the NH-82 into four lanes.

Recently, the company, along with its Russian joint venture PTPS, has won a project worth INR12.55bn from the National Highways Authority of India.
