Forum Group to build luxury residential condominium in India

Forum Group has announced its plans to construct luxury residential condominiums in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The project, christened Atmosphere, will incldue the construction of a luxury residential condominium project featuring two tall towers. Between them, at a height of 500 feet, ‘Deya’, a piece of public art will be displayed. Deya will also house an exclusive club for the residents of Atmosphere. Deya, with 320 feet width, has 55,000 square feet in usable space, and will be amorphous in shape, floating between the peaks of the two towers. The four-level Deya will feature multiple swimming pools, a gym, a spa, squash courts and a badminton court, a jogging track, a mini cinema theatre, open-air party deck, an amphitheatre, and multiple lounges and spaces for smaller gatherings or congregations, among several other facilities. The construction cost of Deya is estimated at $22 million, while the construction of Atmosphere is expected to cost $120.5 million. The construction work on the project is scheduled to begin by mid-March 2011 and will take approximately 30 months to complete.
