US-based Forest Development has secured approval from the Town of Lake Park in Florida for the construction of luxury condominium project, dubbed Nautilus 211, featuring mixed-use components.

The 332-unit, 1.15 million ft² luxury condominium project, which will rise along the Intracoastal Waterway, is expected to be the largest of its kind in the Town of Lake Park.

Construction on the project is planned to commence in the fall of 2020 and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2023.

Forest Development managing partner Peter Baytarian said: “This remarkable project is the result of five years of planning.

“The community rallied its support around the project that will bring vitality and world-class architecture to Lake Park, and we are very appreciative of our new neighbours. Once completed, Nautilus 211 will allow the Town to truly thrive, and achieve some of its other goals that benefit all residents.”

The project will comprise two, 23-storey towers that will offer views across the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean. The towers will feature two pools, one on the sixth-floor deck and a second pool on the 23rd floor.

Lake Park Mayor Michael O’Rourke said: “This project is a game-changer for us. Nautilus 211 will bring in more than $1.7 million in annual revenue to the Town, which will help us create new programs and potentially reduce taxes, plus generate hundreds of construction jobs and dozens of permanent jobs for area residents.”

Kast Construction is the general contractor for the project while the interiors were created by US-based Interiors by Steven G design team.

Located directly adjacent to the 87-slip Lake Park Harbor Marina, Nautilus 211 will also comprise 13,000ft² of office space, 8,058ft² of retail and 14,550ft² of space for two waterfront restaurants.
