Filippetti Yachts unveils ‘Biscuit’ motoryacht

15 July 2010

Italian yard Filippetti Yachts has unveiled a 29m yacht designed by Hot Lab Studio, named ‘Biscuit’ featuring a refined interior concept.

Currently completing sea trials, Biscuit features two twin staterooms and a VIP suite. Crew quarters, designed to accommodate four crew members, are featured on the lower deck. The full-beam master stateroom is finished with a mix of dark woods, light leather and stainless steel. Hot Lab has opted for predominantly neutral and light colors to highlight the natural brightness of the rooms. The spacious main living area houses a bar and an office corner.

Italian furniture designer Moroso has provided sofas and armchairs. A striking ten-person dining table by Saarinen acts as the center of attraction of the dining area. Biscuit also features a wine cellar and a well conceived galley equipped with the latest Gaggenau appliances.

The flybridge has been designed as a flexible space functioning as a suitable place for relaxation and outdoor leisure. The starboard features two sofas to serve dual purposes. One sofa can be transformed into a dining area with a teak table for twelve people, while the other ‘L’-shaped sofa can be converted into a spacious sunbathing area.

Biscuit will be officially launched in late July 2010. It is the culmination of a new partnership between Filippetti Yacht and Italian studio Hot Lab Yacht & Design. The yacht is designed as a 'one-off' yacht with two engines of 1,850 HP CAT each.
