Colchester Borough Council approves Vineyard Gate development
26 January 2012Caddick Group has announced that the Colchester Borough Council's Cabinet has given approval for development of Vineyard Gate in Colchester, UK.
The new development proposal comprises some 140,000 square feet on two levels, with direct access to Eld Lane, and will include 25 new shops and restaurants as well as a car park. The scheme also comprises two anchor store of approximately 20,000 square feet and 50,000 square feet and units ranging in size from 3,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet. These will attract high quality new retailers and restaurants to Colchester that are currently unable to find shops of suitable size and configuration. There is an encouraging level of demand, showing that Colchester is resilient despite difficult trading conditions.
