CCCC lands Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge contract

China’s CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has won the bid for Section 2 of Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge in Jiangxi province.

The value of this contract is CNY620 million ($90.95 million) with construction period of 36 months. This bridge is connecting Hubei and Jiangxi with total length of 25.145km and dual-three lane. It is composed of three segments, namely south approach road, river-crossing bridge, and north approach road. The river-crossing part is 5.53km long with the main span of 818 meters, and it is a hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge with two pylons. CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), was established on October 18, 2006. CCCC along with its subsidiaries is engaged in the construction and design of transportation infrastructure, dredging and port machinery manufacturing business.
