Bright Realty has broken ground on The Realm at Castle Hills, a 324-acre, mixed-use development in the Castle Hills community in Lewisville, Texas.
Located just west of State Highway 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Josey Lane, The Realm at Castle Hills will be a new lifestyle destination that includes office, dining, retail, entertainment and multi-family developments.
Phase I of the project, Offices at The Realm, will be a nine-storey Class AA office building comprising 235,000ft² of office space and an additional 15,000ft² of first-floor restaurant space.
Crescent Park, an expansive park and outdoor entertainment space, will be constructed in front of the office building.
The office building and park will be completed in mid-2019.
Groundwork on Phase II of the project, a 260-unit multi-family complex above 35,000ft² of retail, has also begun.
Phase I of the project will include WiFi-connected tenant common areas, including a community lounge and patio, rooftop deck seating, conference centre, computer bars and a fitness centre.
The office complex will include ample surface and structured parking. The Crescent Park will include shaded seating, event space, water feature with custom water shows sequenced to music and a splash fountain for children and pets.
Hill & Wilkinson is the general contractor for Offices at The Realm, which has been designed by architect BOKA Powell, design architect and interior designer 505 Design, and landscape architect Land Design.
Phase II of the project, which is expected to be delivered in 2020, will be a mix of multi-family with first-floor boutique-style retail space.
Andres Construction is the general contractor for The Realm apartment, which has been designed by BOKA Powell, 505 Design and Land Design.
Condominiums, a large amphitheatre entertainment district, retail, restaurants and multi-family living opportunities will be part of additional phases of The Realm.
The Realm, situated on the former HR ‘Bum’ Bright family ranch, is a 15-minute drive from DFW International Airport.
